These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Waterford In Your Pocket Accounts website and the purchase and use of listing packages, event submissions and related services provided through this website.
By creating an account, purchasing a package or submitting content through this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Waterford In Your Pocket
Waterford In Your Pocket provides local Business, Things to Do, Festival and Event listings through the Waterford In Your Pocket platform.
The service is operated by Waterford In Your Pocket. If you have questions about these terms, please contact Waterford In Your Pocket.
2. Customer Accounts
You must create a Waterford In Your Pocket account before purchasing or managing listings through the Accounts portal.
New customer accounts may require approval before access is granted. Waterford In Your Pocket may reject, suspend or remove an account where reasonably necessary, including where information supplied is misleading, inappropriate or connected with misuse of the service.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity carried out through your account.
3. Listing Packages
Waterford In Your Pocket offers packages for Business listings, Things to Do listings, Festival listings and additional Event submissions.
The price, duration, Event allowance, Update allowance, renewal period and other features of each package are shown on the relevant product page at the time of purchase.
Each purchased listing package relates to an individual listing. A customer account may hold multiple eligible listings purchased at different times.
4. Business and Things to Do Subscriptions
Business and Things to Do packages may be provided as recurring subscriptions. The billing period, price and any applicable free trial are displayed before checkout.
A valid payment method may be required when starting a free trial even where no payment is taken immediately.
Unless cancelled, recurring subscriptions renew according to the billing schedule shown when the package is purchased.
Where package pricing is based on organisation size, the employee count includes owners and both full-time and part-time staff.
5. Festival Packages
Festival packages are one-off purchases rather than recurring subscriptions.
A Festival package provides six months of listing access from the relevant paid order date together with the Event submission allowance associated with the package purchased.
6. Event Submissions
Some listing packages include a defined number of Event submissions. The available allowance depends on the package purchased.
Event allowances included with recurring packages are associated with the relevant listing and apply to the current subscription period.
Customers with an eligible valid listing may also purchase Extra Event Listings. Extra Event credits are available across eligible listings held on the same customer account and expire at the end of the calendar month in which they are purchased.
Where a listing has both an included Event allowance and Extra Event credits available, the included Event allowance is used before Extra Event credits.
An Event submission that is rejected through the Waterford In Your Pocket review process will normally have its consumed Event allowance restored for another submission.
7. Listing Updates
Eligible Business, Things to Do and Festival listings include up to two listing update submissions per calendar month while the listing remains commercially active.
Update submissions become available after the underlying listing has been approved.
An Update submission that is rejected through the Waterford In Your Pocket review process will normally have its consumed Update allowance restored.
If additional changes are required after the available monthly Update allowance has been used, please contact Waterford In Your Pocket.
8. Submission Review and Publication
Submitting a Business, Things to Do, Festival, Event or Update form does not guarantee publication.
Waterford In Your Pocket reviews submitted content before approval and may reject content that is incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, irrelevant or unsuitable for publication.
Waterford In Your Pocket may make reasonable formatting, spelling, presentation or editorial changes where required for publication while preserving the intended meaning of the submitted information.
9. Content You Submit
You are responsible for ensuring that information, photographs, logos and other material you submit are accurate and that you have the necessary rights or permission to provide them for publication.
By submitting content, you grant Waterford In Your Pocket permission to use, reproduce, resize, format, display and publish that content for the purpose of creating, maintaining and promoting the relevant Waterford In Your Pocket listing or Event.
You must not submit content that infringes another person’s rights or that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, offensive or otherwise inappropriate.
10. Prices and Payments
The price shown at checkout is the price payable for the selected product unless otherwise stated.
Payments are processed through the payment provider made available at checkout. Waterford In Your Pocket does not directly store your full payment card number on this website.
11. Cancellation and Refunds
Subscription cancellations and refund requests are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Cancelling a recurring subscription does not normally remove access immediately. Where applicable, the listing and remaining allowances continue until the end of the period already covered by the subscription.
12. Service Availability
Waterford In Your Pocket aims to keep the Accounts portal available and functioning, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.
Access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, security, software updates or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
13. Changes to Packages and These Terms
Waterford In Your Pocket may update its products, prices, services or these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Changes to recurring prices or other material subscription terms will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any notice requirements that apply.
14. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts any rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
To the extent permitted by law, Waterford In Your Pocket is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Accounts portal or temporary unavailability of the service.
15. Privacy
Information about how personal data is collected and used is available in our Privacy Policy.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory rights available to you under applicable law.
