This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refund requests are handled for products and subscriptions purchased through Waterford In Your Pocket Accounts.
Subscription Cancellations
Recurring Business and Things to Do subscriptions can be cancelled through the customer’s Waterford In Your Pocket account where a cancellation option is available.
Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals. Cancellation does not normally remove access immediately. Where applicable, the associated listing and remaining allowances continue until the end of the period already covered by the subscription.
When that entitlement period ends, access to the listing and any remaining package-specific allowances may become unavailable.
Free Trials
Where a subscription includes a free trial, the length of the trial and the recurring price that applies afterwards are shown before checkout.
A payment method may be required when beginning a free trial even where no payment is taken immediately.
If you do not wish a subscription to continue after its free trial, you should cancel it before the first scheduled renewal payment.
Festival Packages
Festival packages are one-off purchases and do not automatically renew.
A Festival package normally provides six months of listing access from the relevant paid order date together with the Event allowance included in the package purchased.
Extra Event Listings
Extra Event Listings are one-off purchases rather than subscriptions.
Extra Event credits expire at the end of the calendar month in which they are purchased and unused credits do not automatically carry forward into the following month.
Refund Requests
If you believe a payment was made in error or there is a problem with a service you purchased, please contact Waterford In Your Pocket as soon as possible.
Refund requests are considered having regard to the circumstances of the purchase, any service already provided and any rights available under applicable law.
A full refund of a Festival order may result in the associated Festival listing, remaining Event allowance and other access connected with that purchase becoming unavailable.
A partial refund does not automatically remove the associated Festival listing or entitlement unless otherwise agreed or required.
Rejected Submissions
A rejected Business, Things to Do, Festival, Event or Update submission does not by itself cancel or refund the package through which it was submitted.
Where the Accounts system provides for an Event or Update allowance to be restored following rejection, that allowance will be returned for another submission.
Changing Package
Package changes are not automatically prorated. If you want to move to another package, you may need to cancel the existing subscription and purchase the required package separately.
Where an existing subscription is cancelled, access normally continues until the end of the period already covered by that subscription.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, limits or replaces any consumer or other statutory rights that apply and cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
